Multiple Businesses and Franchise ArrangementsIndependent Audiologists Australia Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct
If a full IAA member operates more than one audiology business, including as part of a franchise arrangement, they must ensure that:
(a) they operate all businesses, including franchised businesses, in accordance with the IAA Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct;If a full IAA member operates an audiology business which does not meet the eligibility requirements as stated in the rules of association, that member will lose eligibility for full IAA membership and must tender their resignation as a full member of IAA in accordance with Rule 7; If a full IAA member operates more than one audiology business and fails to adhere to the IAA Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct in operating any one of those business, that member will lose eligibility for IAA membership and must tender their resignation as a full member of IAA.
